Lord of the Lanes
An Unreal Engine Game
For the final year project of my Master's, I built a strategy game based on minion management where the player must destroy their opponent's base using minions that spawn and move across the map. The player has automatic gold generation and can select buildings to upgrade their minions, or pay for new minion types to spawn. There are 3 playable armies: Humans, Orcs, and Elves. Each army also has unique abilities that the player can use to their advantage during the heat of the battle.
This was both a design and tech focused project that allowed me to develop an idea and follow it through to create a full gameplay experience.
The full list of features include:
main menu system, army selection, map loading, building interaction, minion interaction, intuitive and reactive user interface, artificial intelligence for minions, and an AI opponent.
